"Chaotic and disorganized because most contracts were cost plus or chaos paid better than clear sustainable processes."

"The single owner/CEO/CFO with with no responsibility to anyone but himself needs to listen to the good people who work for him."

"Stay away it is not a safe place to work! Don't even bother coming in."

What don't you like about working at DEKA Laser Technologies?

"A coworker jokingly pointed a pellet gun at my face and pulled the trigger. Later he shot my offive area up with pellets. When I asked my manager for a transfer he sent the offender to talk to me. After essentially denying everything he sent out a email saying every thing was fine. No one bothered to ask me. When HR fianlly (3 months later) asked me, I had become the problem. After being blacklisted from any of the good programs I was deligated to work as a junior drafts making only cad changes to redline drawings handed to me. As a degreed engineer with 18 yrs experience and after several confrontations with HR and the company lawyer I was eventually made mserable enough that I had to quit. Even in this job market. I also found out that I was not the only one who had endured this type of treatment. I knew two others that had been assualted by coworkers and then punished for reporting the assaults to their managers. And just in case you were wondering, the one that pointed the gun at me is still there. nothing ever happened to him. listen to me don't work here, it just isn't worth it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Dean you need to hire real managers and a HR department. You try to encourage kids into the profession but your company treats all but a select few that work for you like crap. I was told you knew about what happened to me. I'll give you the benifit of the doubt like to think that if you had you would"
