What do you like about working at DCM Creations?
"It was a different work-culture in terms of the company's mission and objectives since they are an employment agency."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Their interview process is similar as that of an employment agency (which also comes with some computer skills testing - depending on the nature of the job). Just be prepared to look your best/professional and they might include some odd questions at the end of the interview...such as, How do you spend your weekends Somewhat of 'invading your privacy.'"
What don't you like about working at DCM Creations?
"Being that DCM recruits mostly for Japanese companies in the Torrance area, most employees in DCM Creation are Japanese speakers and so it becomes really uncomfortable to an employee with no Japanese background. For example, when you are sitting in a meeting and 95% of the meeting is in Japanese and you feel left out or even discriminated and also, some of the meetings, they exclude the non-Japanese speakers because they probably feel bad that you don't speak the language."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Even though their clients are Japanese companies looking for Japanese bilingual employees, DCM Management should probably look into offering services to future clients with American background. Plus, they do not have adequate documentation knowledge and their follow-up procedure with Termination and/or Lay-off documentations and procedures are almost non-existent."
