"Working for Daxcon allowed for a vast deal of oppertunities, the people were terrific, and it was a very casual employee oriented environment. However due to the size of the company there were not always oppertunities to advance as quickly as other places. With that being said, I would say overall Daxcons owners and managers were very intrested in helping their employees succeed."
What do you like about working at Daxcon Engineering?
"This was a terrific company to work for. They were quick to show employee appreciation. They were somewhat of a new, small, locally owned company and they were interested in helping other succeed. They also focused on quality and timely work. Customer satisfaction was a must for them. The office environment was unlike any I have ever experienced. The owners took a personal interest in individual lives as well as the bottom line."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Just be honest and expound on your assets."
What don't you like about working at Daxcon Engineering?
"That is a hard question to answer since I am no longer employed with Daxcon. Daxcon is a small company that at one time had around 150 - 250 employees. The majority of their work relied heavly on one companys success-Catapiller. When Catapiller cut contracts in Feb. 2009, Daxcon had to downsize to literally a handful of people. The remaining people are friends and close family with a few exceptions. I guess I would have to say that I wish Daxcon would have extended their customer base. I wouldn't say that critically since I don't have complete knowledge of what they did to insure their continuing operations. I do know they are hoping for a rebound in the future."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"For management at Daxcon I would have to say keep focusing on quality work and excellent employee management."
