"I felt that it was an excellent company to work for but moving out if technical support into another position within the company was difficult."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do not lie during your interview. Explain why and how you are willing to learn new technologies and give examples of technologies you've mastered on your own. Also, never say or give the impression that the customer is wrong even when they have a problem that is clearly caused by the customer."

What don't you like about working at Datalogic Automation?

"Opportunity for growth was lacking in technical support. I was pigeon-holed into my support role because they didn't want to have to replace me."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Do not make software engineers supervisors simply because they are brilliant at programming. Sometimes they lack people skills needed for supervisory roles."
