What do you like about working at Racal Electronics?

"They were focused on providing the best and fastest customer service as possible. They sent each field engineer to 5-6 out of town traing classes each year. You had to be completely prepared before you interfaced with customers."

What don't you like about working at Racal Electronics?

"Although there were 200 field engineers around the country, I had the pleasure to be associated with the people in Dallas' regional office. After 10 years had passed, I saw the leader in the modem industry slowly lose it's position in the market to competition that made inexpensive basic products."

"It was an adventure and I don't mean that in a mean way. When a oil/gas well starts to go wild on you, well, your heart is in your mouth."

"Very political"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Quit the personal politics and work to advance the product and systems and yes men may give you the answer you want to hear, but not the answer you need to hear!"
