"I liked not being in the office for 8 hours. Visiting different companies to supply them with our advertising, talking to many customers on a day to day basis."

"Understand you training, and stay trained, be patient and make sure you know that in sales, clients don't come in a day or two, be patient they will show up when the time is right."

"The team morale, and energy in the office. It seemed as if no one was happy in what their job called for"

"To keep a team environment, in order to keep sales standards high. Don't just feed sales reps to the wild."
"Click farm, nothing more. Terrible hours, terrible newsroom management, very high turnover. (Avg. one departure a week in dept. of 60 people.) Tense place to work. Everyone worried about being fired/laid off. Bottom line: Daily News Online is not a place to do real journalism."

"development of new clients and outer island development and travel - I developed a section of tourism that ran for a year and then went to a quarterly section including stories and photos - my new business was 800 % in new business in a down market"
