"While Sav-on was an independent company before their buy out, they treated the employees like they meant something and cared for them liked they mattered and it showed in their customers and sales profits."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be open and honest no matter what you may think is bad. Dress for the job you want to achieve and be realistic in your needs and wants at some point."

What don't you like about working at CVS?

"When another company bought them out they tried to change the way that business was being done and they found out that california is way different than it is on the east coast business wise."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"For any company no matter how small or large please do your homework when it comes to business trends. Not all states are the same, your employees are the best knowledge you can get for free. If asked, any employee will tell you what you need to know; as managers sometimes we forget that they live it daily and are our customers too."

What don't you like about working at CVS?

"Not much, I was moved frequently to cover regional store needs. But ultimately was stabilized toward the end."

"You need to hire more people so theres more help."

"Budgeting of hours in unrealistic amounts to meet the demands."

"Trim the fat at corporate to allow stores to have a better payroll structure. Stop spreading payroll and balance it with appropriate time frames."

"We were so overwhelmed with the all the corporate and district manager's requirements that you would lose customer service and sales opportunity."

"Try to streamline some of the corporate requirements and allow more time for employees and management to be more interactive with their customers."
