No one in my department has seen a raise in the past 8 years. as News Director, I was asked to hire "qualified anchor/reporters" for $10 an hour. Tech support was minimal in a setting that demands more."

The local markets are not provided the resources and training that is required to be a successful, PARTICULARLY on the Digital forefront. The local markets are filled with wonderfully dedicated, hard working staff. If only they had the backing of Corporate and true leadership, they could accomplish so much more."
