"As a former intern at Cummins Inc, my review would solely be reflective of my intern experience and is not meant to be a general internship summary. In my opinion, the biggest perk that Cummins provides to its interns is the community - one that hosts people with varied skillsets and presents hundreds of teams that work in tandem to contribute to Cummins' mission of providing quality engines. Its headquarters in Columbus, Indiana employs hundreds of interns every year from the top colleges in the United States. This provides every intern a chance to learn from and ultimately network with numerous students that have both technically and culturally diverse backgrounds. Numerous opportunities that accustom the interns with professional tools, workshops that are meant to enhance leadership and communication skills and a chance to interact with the CEO ensure a holistic and thoroughly professional learning experience. In addition, a collaborative work environment where help is always available and there is flexibility in deliverables makes Cummins a great destination for an internship."
