What don't you like about working at Cummins?

"Cummins hired lot of fresh graduates in yr 2011 and when economic conditions along with company sales deterioted the Cummins Leadership decided to lay off of 1500 + jobs alteast"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Cummins Management decided to laid off couple of my team members with whom I worked during last 2 yrs without giving them any pre notice period of even 1 day. Which is in complete contrast to what Cummins CEO talks Corporate Ethics in his Quarterly Financial results"

"Many times I felt like there was a lack of direction or specific goals to attain in our department. But I did not notice this in other departments."

"Before shuffling department roles, make sure that all the people in the department can manage the new role and have a very well defined goal structure before implementation."

"I liked my job a lot, just wish it was in Texas. I worked a lot of 24 hour shifts overhauling and repairing all types of diesel engines and generators. All of my co-workers were very well trained.
