"Job secutiry. During slow times they believe it down sizing instead of improving your department and staff so you will be better when the business pick sup."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Invest mora in your staff. When you have great employees you should do what you can to keep them. It does not help business to let people go for a month and hire somebody new 1 month later that does not have the same skills and business relations."

"don't apply, if you have a choice. otherwise you won't last long"

What don't you like about working at Credit Acceptance?

"the managers are tyrants and expect you to choose them over bettering yourself, for the pay they provide and very unaffordable benefits premiums they demand and expect way too much from their employees. the place is a revolving door and no one stays for long. the owner michael Salhbach does not care at all about his employees and it shows. if you have one bad month in your collections efforts he will terminate you on the spot. he only cares about the money you make him but could care less about his employees. I would not recommend this company as a career choice for my life."

"quit that place while you have a chance"
