What do you like about working at Consolidated Precision Products?

"I really enjoy seeing the production of parts from a drawing conception to a reality. I enjoy working on components that end up on aircraft and spacecraft. I enjoy the type of work as far as the problem solving and creation goes."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would just give a word of warning that there is not much of a future for anyone getting involved in this company."

What don't you like about working at Consolidated Precision Products?

"Unfortunately my company has a learn by failure atmosphere, lacking a proper structure in process. Also their greatest weakness is their stance on employee empowerment. When I asked my boss if our company would consider sponsoring my masters degree he said that he would never allow it because it would make me more valuable and I would leave. I work for a multi-million dollar a year facility, who wont invest in their own employees."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I feel that our management needs to make a better effort to inform those around them of what is going on. I also fee that there should be a yearly review to discuss personal goals that would not only create ambition in the workforce but would probably create a healthier productivity level."
