What do you like about working at Cox North America?
"Cox Medical was a well run organization. They had an open door policy and even though I worked off site, my boss was always available for a phone call. I had an above average product that was easy to work with. I had a great support staff at corporate, and had good working relationship with the owner in London. I liked the thrill of the hunt. On the day I started I was handed a piece of paper with ten names on it and was told this is what we have so far. I liked that everything about the division was a direct result of my hard work. I liked going to the trade meetings and working with the customers to solve their problems, and if they didnt have any problems I sometimes had to give them something to think about which of course, my product was the answer."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"My suggestions for anyone interviewing with Cox Medical is to simply be yourself and maintain a positive attitude and they will be very successful."
What don't you like about working at Cox North America?
"I worked from my home office for three weeks, and then spent one week at the trade show. I would have no less than 40 meetings in a 3 or 4 day period, and then would go home and spend three weeks doing tasks and follow-ups and then start the whole thing over the next month. Having two countries with multiple time zones meant I was on call from the moment I woke up until I went to bed at night. It was a little hectic at times, but we got through it. That what launches are all about."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep up the good work. Starting a new division is always exciting."
