Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If I were to offer a tip, I might utilize a quote that a professor once served during the graduation commencement (of my elder sister) at Duquesne University. The professor said, No matter how many degrees you will ever get, you will NEVER be smarter than your mother. Further explained, tis particular professor stated that (paraphrased) it simply means that having a college degree is great, however, using it to subvert or intimidate other's is not. Furthermore, that ...sometimes, street-knowledge and experience, far outshines its more polished counterparts. He finally stated: Be yourself...because at the end of the day, regardless of personal accolades...that's all that one has."
What don't you like about working at Adelphoi Village?
"I truly felt as though more resources and availability of increased 1:1 counselors were needed in order to provide the holistic and client-centeredness, that the organization's mission statement was self-inclusive of."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Although, hindsight is an excellent tool of self-inspection, and positive retrospect, I feel as though perhaps management might have been able to motivate its employees more often though meetings and smaller monetary items (gift cards, books, etc.). Also, the employ of more positive feedback, than perhaps consistent criticism, might have also been able to boost morale; subsequently and effectively encouraging the clientele, as well."

"The little pay that we get for the work that we perform."

"Higher pay and less paperwork."

"I was able to do the work I went to school for, my boss gave me to opportunity to grow outside my realm by giving me special projects"

"they show no understanding when my car blew up on freeway returning from one of my transition houses."

"be a little more understanding and giving, be working to work with a person who was going though a rough time, and have more faith in your workers,"

"Not Accurate as Agassiz Village was a summer camp that I worked at for many summers."

"They exposure to a work with and for a very diverse group of people from disabled children to minorities."

"The clients were wonderful, the staff, some of them were still working out in their recovery process of staying clean and sober."

"Great to work with children and ensure that they were safe while parents were working."

"I love helping others and utilizing what I have learned and benefited from- personal experience in a friendly working environment."

"My advise would be to come to work with the desire to listen and help others. Know that you have contributed the future health of every patient you speak to."

"My suggestion would be to create a venue for employees to contribute ideas to improve the centers for patients, since we are involved with patients on a one to one basis."
