Senior Sales Engineer

"Compensation is very competitive but you will work for it."

What do you like about working at Corero?

"I liked being challenged. Toplayer is tough sell because of the other larger competitors and the old technology that Toplayer uses."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make sure you present yourself in a very professional manner but do not be up tight. Not one person I interviewed with wore a tie or dress shirt, they even told me to take off my tie during the interview. However, everyone was very professional. Jim the VP of sales is the epitome of hard hitting sales men, do not try to BS him."

What don't you like about working at Corero?

"Toplayer was one of the most unorganized companies I have worked for. An example is on many occasions I would receive 3 calendar invites with 3 different conference bridges for the same meeting."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that they find a better way to organize their meetings for demos, presentations and conferences."
