"They strive for perfection because they have off shore development. All BRD's have to be perfect and written in 5 weeks, or less. Then the business needs to review, then the development team and QA needs to sign off. Then work with QA to develop test scripts."
"Sorry folks but certain areas of the company are not that good. HR works for management not the employees so if you have issues don’t expect them to take you seriously. Unless it is harassment covered by federal law. I work in the tax call center, pay starts off at average going rate but current employees never make what new incoming people do. No COLA. The job is numbers and stat driven, not quality or customer service. The benefits are standard."
"Stabile company with good work/life balance."
"Worked here for 6 months in an IT group, its a different culture. Everyone works independently, and there isn't a lot of accountability from the senior leadership all the way down. However they manage to get things done."
"I worked at CoreLogic for over 8 years. The company provides a good balance between work and family life. There was conflict in organizational changes in upper management over the previous year. The data operations are going through growing pains due to mergers and acquisitions. The company provides little room for growth and under pays in relation to competitors."
"I worked for CoreLogic for almost 10 years, promoted to Sr. Mgr during that time. There is a lot of backstabbing within the mgmt. The worker bees are typically hard working. Through several RIFs it seemed that there were many intelligent, hardworking employees that were dismissed, but those less competent who were friendly with upper mgmt kept their jobs. CoreLogic has become a company of mid-senior mgmt with an "outsource everything" attitude. Only a skeleton crew of technologists remain. Current mgmt seems to prefer to downsize the US citizen personnel, then a month or two later, bring in H1B technologists from their offshore partners. Seek employment elsewhere."
"Terrible place to work. The same day that the company laid off workers, they gave a senior leader a congratulation giftcard of $1000 to a resort hotel and spa (which was on top of his normal salary and bonus) for a promotion. The company clearly did not care for any of its non-executive employees."
"Back stabbing good old girls."
