"Cook Medical is unfortunately on the decline. It is a strong brand based on its history but the new management is failing to maintain the brand value. It is a private company with real financial oversight. It will most likely be sold or acquired in the near future. They struggle to complete projects and have a leadership problem. It is a good school to start with but not a place to build a career. There is a lot of favoritism and very little appreciation of quality work. It is not the company it used to be. It is more of a financial instrument for executives who are waiting to sell it than a real medical company dedicated to innovation and patients."
"Low pay and poor employee treatment. Getting the job done is always more important than getting it done correctly, and there is always time to rush and redo it, but never time to do it right the first time. Management is closed to any feedback from staff and usually sees constructive criticism as an insult. Not the place to be for those who want to spend their time working on their job function, more of a place to be when you want to spend your time trying to convince management that there is room for improvement."
"I have worked for Cook Medical as an Intern for 3 months. This was my first international work experience, and I enjoyed it very much. Cook is like a big family with great work culture for all its employees. Employees maintain very high level of professionalism at the work place. Great Company."
