"Lack of work-life balance....everyone is a number unless you are on the fast trak."

"Value those folks who work in the trenches, and listen to their ideas."

"Regular hours, convenient location in Downtown Boston. People in the workplace are generally friendly."

"Very old-school business enviornment. All of the cliched recommendations for applying, behavior, etc. apply. Little tolerance for individuality."

"Innovation and outside of the box processes are not encouraged."

"The bottom line above all else attitude is not impressing anyone."

"I enjoyed working at Kinder Morgan because it was very diverse and the people were great to know and work with."

"No, I d not have any tips for other interviews with Kinder Morgan at the moment."

"I did not like the sudden change of management that came from Orange County, Ca."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I have no suggestions with management because at the end the problems were resolved, and Kinder Morgan was back to their old ways which were great!"

"I fixed their system to run faster, as whoever maintained it before me did not know CICS and DB2."

"The company and the people. Also upper management was very involved with the work."

"In the beginning of my tenure, people were very nice and the salary was good."

"Be careful not to fall into a hole where you can't get out."
What don't you like about working at Marsh & McLennan?
"The company was too top heavy and not enough growth potential. It was extremely political and management was not very encouraging to someone who was ambitious. Also, there wasn't enough feedback on working relationship until performance reviews then it was too late to do anything about it. Not much opportunity and people weren't supportive."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be supportive and work with your employees. Be open and have clearer lines of communication."
