"Inefficient SOW from the Corps of Engineers (DPW) are actually welcomed because it creates a higher level of challenge. The projects are reasonably initiated, outlined, and fabricated by the Estimator following all government guidelines including ADA. The Estimator is involved in all aspects of the project from start to finish including the materials. The Estimator serves as the Buyer for all materials on smaller projects."

"Be able to work independently and think on your feet."

"No benefits and constant issues have to be dealt with against project managers and labor."

"Pay quality money and benefits for quality people and get rid of the dead weight."

"I like some of the people I work with and I love the line of work I am in."

"All if you have a family for anyone that depends on you for your income, maybe this isn't the best place for you."

"no room for growth, benefits, raises, and no trust in their employees."

"Learn to listen to the people that do all the work and that care about you and the company."
