What do you like about working at Concept Engineering?

"I enjoyed my time with Concept Engineering. The environment was clean and organized. Equipment was top notch. Consumables (drills, tooling) was kept organized and inventory was kept up. Health benefits and family was very important to the owner. My children's sports and activities where first with the owner. The opportunity learn every aspect of the company was there. Personal work could be done after hours using company equipment."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you have the mind of a tinkerer this is the place for you, but you should express this during the interview. The owner is one of the most intelligent people I know. Have a good reality check on your skill level. You wont fandango your way in and stay long."

What don't you like about working at Concept Engineering?

"Pay. The money and the raises where minimal. The owner would have knee jerk reactions to mistakes. Name calling would steal your confidence quickly,but he would calm down just as quick but for the employee, the damage was done."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trust your employees. know the team that was there ,while I work here, worked hard and was skilled in what they do. The need for new business was more important, than micro managing the employee."
