3 With idioms such as "Dream Big", "Move Fast", and "Learn From Reality", Compass places its emphasis on hyper-growth and pleasing its customers. Compass has set its sights on providing real estate agents the tools and support they need, with an attitude that the agent must come first. The focus on the agent has led to strenuous working hours, low pay, and staff dissatisfaction. However, its staff are some of the smartest, earnest, and most dedicated people you will ever meet. Even if some do not share in the company's vision, they still manage to surpass any goal or project handed to them. When faced with budget cuts, teams focus on how to make best with what they have and achieve multiple wins. Despite mediocre benefits, Compass has taught many lessons, and has shown that balance between customer satisfaction and staff quality of life is vital to a company's prosperity.

3.1 This company is disorganized and protocol on how things are done changes too often. There's no clear structure with your scope of support and you are basically asked to create things/projects for yourself to keep you busy. They don't match 401k or offer equity. Diversity here is very slim, and agents can be pretentious and demanding. The CEO is actually a pretty cool guy, and they offer unlimited paid sick time as well as fully paid health, dental, and vision which is a plus.

2.1 The company requires an overhaul starting from its core. It is the unchanged culture and the inability to change and adapt to the changing world. The company has the potential to be one of the best in the Bay to work for, but until management and their favorite employees take the first step, company is left unchanged.
