Training Specialist

"I've worked for the Department of Revenue for 11 years starting from a front line technician and promoting to a training specialist. The overall experience has had it's ups and downs as any company with constant changes and with some managers happy to be mentors where others are not. The co-workers are great people, though the morale in many offices are down. The culture has made a positive turn around from when first starting with DOR, but has a lot of work to go. Overall, the benefits and retirement is the advantage working for the state."

"Having worked for DOR for over 10 years I have seen many ups and downs. Typically the department has a very capable Executive Director and the quality of compensation has risen steadily over the years."
