"The General Management team has not done anything to recognize the issues with how the maintenance staff is managed. I've worked for years with this company and it has finally hit rock bottom. You can really do your best at this job, but once you do something different from the way he wants it, you will get punished. I know how to do my job, but my Manager tells me to go around my elbow to get to my thumb. All he has done is waste people's time and blame staff for his mistakes. You have to provide your own tools, although I was told differently. Most of the time we don't have the proper equipment to do our jobs, and our manager will not get it unless a member complains about something. Our Manager cares nothing about safety or well being of his staff. He has a safety meeting and then tells us to do the opposite of what was in the safety meeting. You can never tell if he's setting you up to fall or if he is an idiot. Turnover is no joke. Why would I be happy when people get hired making more then me and I've been here for so many years. Things are not what they used to be."
