"the average engineer at the davenport site stays for about 3 years. They either leave because of the unchallenging work and lack of a career path or are fired because they are unhappy. In the meantime you will be lucky if you don't catch cancer. Lots of employees have died of cancer at this work site because of the toxic chemicals used in the aerospace manufacturing process."
"Just started and these guys are trying to sell stuff to Boeing, one of the worst run companies in the world. They are having a tough time understanding the Boeing corporate culture. They are learning, but it isn't easy. I am a contractor, and there is a well defined "us and them" climate between directs and contractors. The directs hate us, for whatever reason. I get over the angst every payday. Personnel is one of the worst groups I have ever seen. They define the terms arrogant and rude. They also force contractors to work unpaid hours, which is going to backfire on them sooner or later."
