"My current employer was ranked 8 out of 10 in the Best places to work in Orange county.!"

What do you like about working at Coastline Regional Occupational Program?

"What don't I like about working at Coastline ROP. I have a great rapport with every single person at Coastline ROP, we are all on a first name basis, everyone from the receptionist to the superintendent of the school. I truly enjoy teach the students in all the district that we work with within the Huntington Beach, Newport Mesa districts. And working with the businesses in the community when it's time to get my students internships. This job has allowed for alot of different opportunities and new learning experience. I truly feel it is my 8 years at Coastline that has finally helped me see that being a Speech therapist is and will be my dream job.!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Tons! considering I teach a class where one of my main lessons is interviewing. My main tips I tell my students is be prepared (i.e. learn as much as possible about the company your interviewing, have a question for the boss etc.) be on time (i.e. 15 minutes early), come dressed to impress, have a copy of your resume with you, make sure that the position your applying for is something your interested in, because the last thing you want is for your job to feel like work."

What don't you like about working at Coastline Regional Occupational Program?

"The one thing that I don't like about working at Coastline isn't really a matter of working at Coastline, it's more the lack of real one on one interaction that I get with my students. I have truly enjoyed teaching but realize that my degree and my experienc with Coastline have help me see that I thrive off working closly with people and feeling llike I'm making a difference."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that anyone in management or thinking about going into always be a good communicator, and try to adapt the open door policy. That has always seemed to make every work environment I've worked in amazing."
