What do you like about working at Hamilton Sundstrand?
"The department I worked in was full of extremely intelligent, extremely personable people that were happy to treat the co-ops like full-time engineers. The work was interesting and I felt like I made a difference."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"HS is looking for only the best and brightest; if you land an interview with them be prepared to give multiple examples of incidents where you applied experience and problem solving skills to rectify a mistake or find a solution to a problem."
What don't you like about working at Hamilton Sundstrand?
"As with any large company, there is always a measure of office politics going on. Competition with other departments for money and resources is an unending battle at HS, as with any other business."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Keep listening to your most experienced staff members, that is the best way to maintain the high quality of your work."
What do you like about working at DTE Energy?
"It was great professionally as well as personally. It's a great place in terms of job security and career growth."

"Increase vacancies."

"The rotation system for co-ops."

"I wish DTE would hire co-ops for as long as they are in school. In other words, I wish there was no rotation system."

"Driving far places to obtain information for the power plants."

"Have different sides of the energy industry to interact more with each other. i.e. fossil generation side with power distribution side."
