CNE Schools Employee

"The superintendent wrote me an extremely positive, lovely reference letter. He was and is a wonderful person to work for and with. The district is a very small, rural community, and most students have never been to the city. The number of graduates who go onto college is quite low. There also seems to be a fairly serious issue with racism in the community which was difficult for me as a teacher and a person. I enjoyed many of my coworkers and my students, but felt suppressed as an artist and as a person."
