  • "garten (formerly known as Oh My Green) is a fun, collaborative place to work. It is a startup in the truest sense, which allows for many positives but also a few negatives. You have direct access to leaders and you can make a real impact by having a hand in the creation of foundations and processes. But because foundations and processes are being formed in real time, you have to be creative and willing to jump into the unknown. The lack of formal training and/or processes can leave some feeling a bit lost, but as long as you come in with an open mind and a willingness to learn, you will be successful. In addition, it's commonplace for employees to wear multiple hats and jump in wherever possible. This may seem like a downside to some, but I loved this piece of the job, as it allowed me to gain experience in areas of the company that I wasn't quite as familiar with. garten doesn't have as many of the flashy incentives as other tech startups, but they are truly grounded in beliefs that I think most people can get behind - the importance of health and wellbeing. Finally, one of the biggest benefits is that I have never been surrounded by leaders who were so willing and eager to listen and learn from their teams. They truly care and embody the mission of centering the workplace around wellbeing."
