"I worked as a research intern over the summer at Clemson University. It was a great opportunity to gain experience in a laboratory setting. Me and my fellow interns worked without much supervision and held ourselves accountable for getting our work done. There were some equipment challenges and issues but we found other resources on campus to help us achieve our tasks. It went well since we ended up getting data that we were able to use to publish a paper. All in all the work environment and setting were beneficial to my experience and education."
