"Terribly unprofessional workplace. Although it appears very relaxed, their method of training and managing is by repetition. Friends that have also worked here call it a cult. High pressure fundraising. From computers, to phone systems to training they are technologically deficient. Everyone dates or lives together. Sexual harassment abounds. It's a job, that's it."

"My favorite part of working at Clean Water Action was being surrounded by wonderful people and working on truly worthwhile issues. My fellow employees' passion for the work was inspiring."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would advise them to stick with it. The work may seem challenging at first but it gets easier and it is rewarding to be able to work hard for a worthy issue."
What don't you like about working at Clean Water Action?
"Although I enjoyed working to protect the environment, I had to endure a lot of emotional abuse, not from coworkers but from angry potential customers. Physically, the work was taxing as well, requiring us to walk around in neighborhoods all day."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If I were running the show, I would be very much like my current boss except I would dress and behave a bit more professionally."
