"I've worked for myself for a while so perhaps this isn't the most applicable question for someone in my situation. I will say though, that operating a law firm from home has been both rewarding and challenging. It is rewarding in the sense that I've been able to work while also caring for my children, which I understand is an experience that most new parents don't get to enjoy. The financial flexibility also has allowed me to help some low income clients that I wouldn't have been able to help if I were working for someone else at a firm. The challenge of doing it all on your own is that you're doing it all on your own. In that sense there is total accountability. I rely on myself and myself alone to see that every single thing gets done."
