City of Corpus Christi Employee

"Having worked in my profession for roughly five years, I came to the City expecting a professional environment in which to grow and learn. Shortly after coming aboard, the lack of ability from the managerial staff, which eventually led to a hostile work environment on their part, had me putting in my notice of resignation after only a few months. This is the most unprofessional environment in which I have ever worked. Management is barely knowledgeable in much of the professional subject matter, has no managerial skill, and is constituted of petty egos with lofty titles. If mediocrity is your goal and simply collecting a check to buttress the egos of charlatans on the public's dime is what you seek, this is the place for you. Good for interns to get experience, bad for professionals who know their fields."
