"I love helping others resolve their disputes in a conciliatory matter. Most of my arbitrations end up in settlement created by the parties with my assistance as facilitator."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be willing to serve without pay as an opportunity to give back to the community. A form of pro bono service."

What don't you like about working at City of New York?

"I do not get enough opportunities to arbitrate as there are many arbitrators and not enough days to give out to all who want to participate."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"It is all about funding and the amount of capital available to give to the arbitration program. I would suggest they allot more funding for this service."
