"I have been with City Electric Supply since August of 2008, and they have been a good company to work for. It is family owned, so they are in the best interest of their employees, and reward us for our efforts to push the company.However, their pay scale is the same across the country regardless of where you live, and it is not enough for some areas. I lived in Denver, Colorado and the cost of living there is reasonable, compared to California it is difficult to maintain a lifestyle. I would like to stay with the company, but the chances to move up are very slim due to the way they divide the regions throughout the country, and the number of people appointed to manage them doesn't leave a lot of room for advancement.I would recommend the company for someone that is looking for a way to learn how to run a business, and how to be an effective sales person that if wanted, can translate into another industry."
