"I've worked for the Church of God Children's Home for 2 years. It is a place where you can learn a lot through various tasks given to you, where you have the opportunity to interact daily with the population you are serving (the kids), and where you can grow as a professional. They have various ways to become involved and typically do not turn you away if you wish to help with any situation (unless it involves confidentiality). It is a mental health facility, so the pay isn't very high, but if you let it, the work can be very rewarding."
