"CHS does not take patient care as it's primary function and goal any longer. They are a for-profit facility and only worry about their end game - to save money. Even if that is at the expense of the patient. My direct supervisor was absolutely amazing and fought for our patient's rights every day, making healthcare what it is is supposed to be - CARE. Without my co-workers, I would have left a long time ago."
"good company, fair compensation and good benefits"
"I have worked for CHS in Minot, ND for over six months now and I have so far had a great experience. I get along with my supervisor and co-workers great. They are farmer-owned cooperative with an agricultural side and energy side. I am looking for something more where I can use my skills and knowledge to improve as a technician."
"Great people to work with."
"Dysfunctional and running on outdated hardware and software. Far behind the times. Contractors are treated like third class citizens and the employees are treated like second class citizens. Hundreds of open positions. They are currently having to bring contractors in from all over the country just to stay afloat because no one local will work for them."
"CHS has undergone many changes over the last 2 yrs. Specifically the transportation and distribution division. All but one member of the safety team and the senior leadership team has more than 2 yrs with the company. An emphasis on college degrees, despite their major, over experience and demonstrated performance on the job is now taking hold. This is a major departure from many like type operations."
"It has been a fine learning experience."
