What do you like about working at Christopher Newport University?
"Everyone is friendly. If you have any questions or need help with something there are abundant resources, both technology and people, to assist you. You receive extensive training and develop expertise in both mac and pc computers. You gain knowledge in a variety of classroom technologies and media devices, including smart carts, projectors, document cameras, video cameras, etc."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Develop a system where students get paid according to their knowledge and expertise and the work they do rather than paying everyone minimum wage to do varying degrees of work. Assistants who answer more work orders and train more faculty should have a higher position than a student who answers telephones and arranges the training sessions."
