"The Real truth about Chilis"

What do you like about working at Chili's?

"Things were different when I originally signed on to work with Chilis, they have since changed there policies and procedures and everything that was great about the company they use to be a good place to work, very team oriented."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Other then find a better company to work for, they like people who will kiss up and hang out with them."

What don't you like about working at Chili's?

"They change there quality of life statement at will , they went from not working you more then 6 days, to working you a week with one off day. They force you to use up all of your vacation and tell you when you have to take your vacation. Chilis also tried to take away accrued vacation time, which is illegal in CA. They aren't friendly employers, they work you from promo to prom with no incentive and they have changed the bonus structure to insure you do not bonus. Chilis District Managers and GM's also go off of feed back from servers. They judge you based on the unhappy $8 employees who your paid to tell what to do. Also Chilis was a very racial job, woman and minorities are looked down upon, your aren't judged or promoted based on your work its who you know, and who you kiss up to. I don't recommend this job for minorities. Also if they don't like you regardless of your work they will find a reason to fire you."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Unless you want long hours for low pay, and to deal with racial drama don't do it look for a company that values there employees. They fire Area Directors, GM's and AM's who have put in 10+ years with there company without blinking, they have no loyalty."
