"CEO is a businessman. Coworkers are the best part of my job."
"Company looking to better the world with groundbreaking research through contracts with all types of pharma companies"
"The Company is good overall. They do make an attempt to balance when a person works versus when they need to go through their life. So the work-life balance is a common culture at the company. However, the company is at a midpoint from doing the task the way they always have done them or developing systems to better meet the customer's and investors' needs of faster higher quality service."
"This company is great for a first job out of school. Compensation is average."
"I started work with CRL in 2016. It’s a very fast-paced work environment that offers decent opportunities for new grads. There isn’t a lot of career development and I wish they worked on creating a better work-life balance. They did do a good job of compensation and there is alway OT available."
"The company is a great place to begin for a college graduate. Albeit, this job will challenge you. It is a great place to gain experience and appreciation for the corporate world. No matter the department you find yourself in there will be opportunities to grow if you work hard enough."
"What am I reviewing? Not sure."
"HR backs management unconditionally. There are no avenues to protect your own ethics. Certain managers are allowed to use favoritism and trash talk about their subordinates. If you try to defend or explain how SAP has inherent flaws and how it can be used against you, HR hasn't a clue nor did it research the possibility. Discrimination of all sorts are used by certain managers and they are allowed to continue. Coworkers are afraid to speak up. One manager, actually tells private medical information about another to justify his or her behavior and is never made responsible for the behavior. Also, certain employees are allowed to be and show outrageous insubordination without any disciplinary action while others are over disciplined and trashed behind their back. HR allows this. Sadly, it's the truth and no recourse for the employee. Fact, not sour grapes."
"CR has taught me a great deal in how to do business in today's market. This company has made me what I am today."
"Upper management is changing... sadly. Some VP's do not care about the values, science and mission of what CRL used to hold in high regards. Executive mgt doesn't care about employees and the board should pay attention to what decisions are being made, They are not made based on science, quality, revenue, cost savings but rather based on someone's ego."
