"CFs beware. This company will take advantage of you as cheap labor. Whatever is said in your interview, double check that it is in your contract. I was told that I would not be traveling between facilities, that I was guaranteed 40 hours a week, and that it “is not a productivity driven company.” None of this was true. After signing my contract I was sent to other facilities (some 45 minutes away), received as little as 32 hours a week, and was told to clock out if my productivity was not at 88%. Expect them to do nothing more than provide the bare minimum of supervision as outlined by the ASHA guidelines. The pay is low. After committing to Champion, I received a job offer with another company for 10$ more per hour. PRN employees were given hours that full-time employees should have received. The training regarding company policies and paperwork was both lacking and incorrect. Nevertheless, I was held accountable for doing the paperwork the way I was trained. My regional manager read my email and used the information she acquired in a salary negotiation at the end of the CF. Their 401K does not start immediately and is only paid into at the end of the year if you are still employed with them. If you are looking for a CF or a “full time” position, look elsewhere."
