What do you like about working at Centurion Private Investigators?
"There were long periods of nothing to do but patrol the hallways and check to make sure doors were locked, and there were a few nice people occasionally."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"First of all, the Pay on the last screen was $8.25 per hour which is less than $24,000 per year, so fix that selection. Now to this box: Do not stop looking for another job if you are hired here. Be prepared to spend hundreds of your own dollars on extra uniform equipment and state certification. You will not get reimbursed for anything."
What don't you like about working at Centurion Private Investigators?
"From week-to-week my work schedule would change from night shift to day shift (11pm-7am / 7am-3pm). Some weeks my days off were split so I would have Mondays and Thursdays off. From week to week none of us ever knew what days we would work. When someone calls in sick, we must say and complete a 16 hour shift because we are a security company, we can't leave the property without getting relieved by another officer. We got paid minimum wage and as a policy, there is no raise and no benefits. At home I had to stay in bed for 12 hours just to get enough sleep so I could be lucid at work."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would keep employees on a fixed schedule from day to day so they could adjust their wakefulness and be able to plan personal events in advance. Paying more than only the minimum wage would attract higher quality employees."
