What do you like about working at CBS Broadcasting?

"CBS Radio at the time was the number one media company in the Washington, DC area. They hired me after graduation and I worked in radio ad sales for 5 years. They had an excellent training program for new account executives and provided support. I successfully found a niche in the financial vertical and sold radio ads to credit card companies and banks."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"My tip would be to show diversity, ability to merge traditional and new media."

What don't you like about working at CBS Broadcasting?

"CBS was a true corporate enviromnent, there was no opportunity to grow or get promoted. I had 4 levels of management above me. I left CBS radio when I relocated to the West coast, the radio industry was changing and I found a new career online."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would say to stay current, look for new opportunities, learn from other industries."

What do you like about working at CBS Broadcasting?

"The product was excellent, the brand was well known in Baltimore. We delivered results for advertisers."

"Every breath since I walked in. Detroit CBS Radio is run by the devil. She is pure evil."

"The quality of the product."

"It's a quality company to work for in which you will learn a great deal about the media industry."

"A slow decision making process."

"Less meetings, more initiation."

"Worked extremely long hours with little compensation or room for career advancement."

"While radio is a very powerful medium, I want to be someplace more forward thinking and internet based"

"Get more behind your online assets - it will lead the way to revenue beyond your wildest dreams"

"There was always something happening. From celebrities coming into the studios, events out at games, or even being a personality on the radio."

"Pay milage, gas is expensive."
