"Managment is giving each of the department manager the freedom and trust to run our own department. The empowerment make us feel that we own this company. It motivates us to do the best for this company."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be a team player, think what is best for the company, make suggestions that will increase the bottom line and help others do the jobs well by providing them the necessary financial data. Nowadays, we can not sit on our office and do our own job but to get out there to see what other people do in terms of process. Go to the shop and see how labor do their work. Talk to sales, and engineers. Understand their work and process then it will help you do a great job as a controller."

What don't you like about working at Cavotec?

"There might be a possibility to relocate or move to a further location. I try to minimize the commuting time so I can be more productive.."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Perhaps to keep the best employees staying for the company, I suggest to have flexible time so even after we move we have the freedom to come to work not just from 8 to 5. If we are empowered to do our job, we should be allowed to work at home at certain time so we don't feel the pressure to get stuck on traffic. Keep communication up-to-date so employees are informed by important decisions."
