"I enjoyed the carpenters union while I was there. It is a great place to learn and move up. I would recommend it to anyone. They even pay for you to go to school to learn more while you are on the job. I was very much cultivated into a better worker and person while I was here."

"it's a great learning experience and you get tp travel which is a plus. also you make great connections while in the business."

What don't you like about working at United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America?

"No real benefits, we didn't have medical or dental and since we were required to travel we couldn't get set up to get benefits"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"find a way to make benefits readily available for you upper level men."
