"I worked for this company for about a year. Their software infrastructure is homebrewed, hacky and aging and their CEO has a number of 'pet projects' that he funds with revenue which have historically gone nowhere. I was hired to 'redesign' their flagship project. I developed a functional prototype application which was supposed to have been presented to investors, but I had no communication with them. The pilot failed and I left shortly thereafter."
