"Care.com has an amazing culture with a workforce filled with people who genuinely care. The only downside I encountered is the lack of transparency from management and the constant feeling of “being disposable.” You will end up with amazing coworkers turned family, but upper management leaves a lot to be desired. Would I recommend the company to a friend or family? I would have to think long and hard."
"Great company to work for"
"This was a family. Not a company."
"I worked for Care.com for 6 and a half years as a developer. During my tenure, I felt supported in my day to day tasks by engineering management and my colleagues and collaboration was a desirable activity."
"I've been in the nanny business for 4 years now and although it was a great experience, I thought it was time to move on. Being a nanny gave me the ability to manage multiple things and also taught me time management. I also advanced my work ethic with each family and shared my knowledge when it came to certain situations. Communication was very important throughout my experience and taught both me and my supervisors when and how to discuss certain topics."
"I have babysat for this family for a year, glad to have chosen them. Although it was through care.com, it was through the parents who I too think have grown on me as well."
"I’ve worked as a nanny for this family for over a year and I have been having the best experience! The work environment is perfect, always happy! I would not change anything about it."
"I’ve worked for care@work for a little over a year and have advanced twice. This company is good for growth but there tends to be a lack of work for the caregivers causing a slower income. Ideally this a great job for those who want a flexible schedule and is better for college students because it’s not always dependable. This is a good job for a short period of time, would definitely recommend for people looking for part time gigs."
"I have been a nanny since I was 8 years old and absolutely love it and love children. Once I was old enough to drive, I wanted to become a nanny and so I checked out care.com. It is a very easy and safe site to use. I have gotten 3 different nanny jobs off of this site and have loved everyone of them."
"I enjoy working for Care.com. The management team is great and Are always on top of everything. I also enjoy my work life balance because I am in control of my schedule based on what jobs I accept. The pay is nice and the benefits are extremely generous. The job also has occasional job trainings to make sure you always preforming at your best and constantly building on your job skills. The environment is very laid back yet professional at the same time and everyone genuinely cares for each other"
"I have worked for Care for two years. Overall I think the workplace culture is excellent. People are friendly and professional and are motivated by the company's mission. It's very much a diverse workplace with Senior Management working hard to foster a good sense of community."
