What do you like about working at Cardno?

"They had some progressive management and were good at maintaining open lines of communication. They tried to promote healthy lifestyles for employees."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't get too theoretical with them. Stick to your value in producing nuts-and-bolts work. At this time I'm not sure I would recommend anyone going into the AEC field as it is so decimated."

What don't you like about working at Cardno?

"Some of the projects were very typical and lacking in any real social value. There was no time for developing good design at the concept level."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Its really too bad that they are in an industry that has been so seriously impacted by the recession. I wonder if the old business model for AEC firms needs to evolve to become more recession-proof."

What do you like about working at Cardno?

"I like when I was able to go home..."

"dont do it unless you really need a job.. they will use yu and run you into the grouns stress wise"

What don't you like about working at Cardno?

"WRG has unprofessional managers that like to charge clients for extras they dont need just to make extra money on projects.. they also like to have employees work over time and not pay them for it.."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"go take some management courses and learn how to manage people...."
