What do you like about working at Cardno ERI?

"I loved working with all the other employees and the clients (we worked with companies such as ExxonMobil and Chevron). I was the administrative assistant doing many various jobs, I was very respected and never once felt like I was less than any of the other employees since I was only an administrative assistant. While I was working at ERI, I was able to handle and enjoyably handle 2 other employees positions after they left the company due to personal reasons. I will always remember and look fondly at the time I spent working for the company."

What don't you like about working at Cardno ERI?

"There were two problems I had with ERI. One was that I knew I would probably never advance without going back to school and that the salary made it very difficult to live in Marin County California. I disliked leaving but it was the last job I held in California before we moved to Louisiana where I joined United Fire Group."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I really believe this company had excellent management. For the most part everyone seemed to be very relaxed and very easy to talk to. The Vice-President worked very close with me and my manager/supervisor was always open minded when I needed something whether it was something personal or something for work. I have never worked any place else where I felt as comfortable as ERI to ask for something or to even recommend ways to make the job(s) more efficient. When I left the company to move to another state, I was told I had the highest turn out for my going away party. I really do not have anything negative to say except I knew I was not going anywhere. If I could afford to live in the area on the salary they were offering, my family probably would not have moved."
