"CN is the highest paying railroad. I saw reviews saying BNSF Is and that’s just false. Bnsf people transfer to CN for the money. Base salary is 100k that’s not including overtime. 47 an hour as a conductor, 50 an hour as an engineer. You won’t make that kind of money anywhere else on the railroad."

"The company pays employees hourly earnings much higher than competitors in the industry. Many can expect to earn six figures with numerous benefits as well. The money is great. Now that I have established that, there is more to know. The expectations of you are super high and attendance is taken seriously. There is also high accountability for following rules and policies. This is where many lose their job. The pressure is such that it can make one feel very stressed out. If you balance it all out, it can be a great career."
