"Managing students in planning and executing campus wide events.Public Speaking.The feeling that what I did made a difference in people's lives."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The only tip I would have is that people understand precisely what the job is they are seeking, and to be themselves during the interview. It does not help anyone for an applicant to try to give right answers and be hired for a job they are not fit for."

What don't you like about working at Campus Crusade for Christ?

"Campus Crusade has no central source of funding, so staff had to raise financial support from individuals and groups to fund personal salary, benefits, and money used on campus, by regional and national headquarters, and for materials. The salary for staff interns was extremely low (approx. $13,000/yr). There were no working hours so many times I would work for 70+ hours a week. It was difficult sometimes to create boundaries between my personal and working life."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My main suggestion would be for management to encourage local staff teams to balance their working schedules better (some people work very little, and some work a lot more than they should). I would also encourage them to cut down overhead costs for the regional and national headquarters to release some of the financial burden of the staff since they are responsible for raising all of the organization's funds."
